Jones Coffee Roasters, South Pasadena

1006 Mission St, South Pasadena, CA 91030.

Corner of Mission Street and Meridian Ave

Located on one of the nicest corners of South Pasadena, Jones Coffee is an institution.

The place has existed for a long time; it used to be Busters.
The space is nice, not very large on the ground floor with only a couple of tables,
and a larger room on the second floor with about 15 seats,
a nice view with large windows, and a great checkered tile floor.

The outdoor area is larger, thanks to COVID,

which allowed them to expand into the space where cars used to park,

plus a side shaded terrace.

Parking is easy on the adjacent streets, except on farmers market day. If you intend to come after 4 pm,
keep in mind they close at 5 pm.
Open every day at 7 am.

The coffee is a touch better than at their Raymond location,

since the water in the South Pasadena system is supposedly of better quality.

The neighborhood is a must-see, with historical houses, many in movies, and gorgeous trees all around.

Jones South Pas is by far the best location, given the picturesque scenery, in the center of South Pasadena,

with attractions such as the crossing metro, which is great for kids.

The pastries are the same Röckenwagner as at their main location on Raymond; they’re fine.
There are plenty of stores and things to do around.

Jones has interesting décor at all of their locations. It stands out: bright, colorful, eclectic, and happy.

Can't go wrong
